Although the modern Pokemon contest emerged only recently, people throughout the ages have been dressing their Pokemon in flattering outfits as a sign of status and grace. This painting of a Flaaffy was recently donated from a private collection, a family who have commissioned portraits of their companions throughout the generations, for this exhibit.
