These two have a bit of backstor.

Katashi (the one on the left) is the older brother, and Katsuro (on the right) is his younger b several years. The are the leading sons of a great and powerful fox demon clan, which heads all other lesser fox demon families. Upon reaching adulthood, Katsuro decided that his older brother was unfit to lead, and challenged him. Despite the age difference, Katsuro was nearly perfectly equal with Katashi, and a devastating counterstrike during the battle ended with each of them losing an eye. In the end, however, Katsuro was too blundered b the sudden change in his vision, whereas Katashi was able to adapt. Katashi was victorious, and renounced his younger brother, stripping him of their family name and demoting him to a servant. Now Katsuro works in his house waiting hand and foot on his older brother. Although he is very smiley and generally unintimidating, he hasn't allowed his power to falter, and still secretly plots Katashi's downfall.
