Lauren traveled along the mysterious ruins. She felt a presence, though when she whirled around there was no one before her. "I must be imagining things." She stepped a hoof forward, and before she took another step, she thought she heard a voice. It sounded female, and angry.

She could not make out the words, but she felt like she should not be here. Lauren turned to run, but her arm tore out of her glove in an avian shape. She no sooner looked down when she saw her right foot was no longer a hoof as it should be. It was a talon of blue/gray birdflesh. She felt a wing tear out of her clothes as the voice finally became understandable.

"Water user..."

"No!! Get out!! What are you doing to me????" Lauren cried.

"Your water prowess is so easy to bond to.... You can't resist me now.... Your body is mine now to do with as I will, and I want a form more suited to me...."

Lauren struggled. "Stop it! G-Got to resist...." Her cry of pain came out in an avian screech, as her motor functions began to betray her. Her body began to move of a will not of her own, and she could no longer speak out loud on her own behalf...
