After the day of pulling Lauren and Chris around in the park while they kissed and made googly eyes at each other, Topaz was finally released from her bridle and harness and shown to her stall in the barn. It was equipped with soft bedding, voice activated sink and door along with all the other amenities for the modern cat turned feral horse. Topaz sighed as she would be serving out the rest of her sentence as a horse until her two weeks were up and she'd be returned to her true form.

She looked around her stall and commanded the door to open. She saw the barn had dozens of stalls, apparently equine transformation must be a fairly common issue, she figured. Topaz stepped out to the sun, in the common area fenced off for them to walk around outside.

It had recently rained, so the ground was covered in mud. She grumbled, her forehooves caked with a thin layer of it. "Yuck."

"You get used to it," A male voice said. "So what were you?"

Topaz gave him a puzzled expression. "Huh?"

"You know, before." Red gestured towards her hooves.

"OH! I'm, well, I was a siamese cat before I 'borrowed' the equine amulet. I didn't think it'd work so fast." She blushed, and turned away.

"I was a horse, the amulet just made me a feral. There's just no way to resist it, is there?" Red asked.

Topaz nodded. "I think maybe it compels you to do it. Anyway, when do they feed us around here?"

"Twice a day, in the troughs outside our stalls."

"No tuna?" Topaz whimpered.

Red snorted. "We're horses. Our bodies can only ingest horse nutrition, so hay and oats it is for us."

Topaz lowered her head. "Figures. Just thirteen more days, girl, and you'll have your hands again."

"Well, until then, we earn our keep by entertaining folks with whatever they need. Rides through the park, a pony to dress up, kids parties..."

Topaz raised her head suddenly. "What?"
