The two Talwyn walked along the road as they approached a mysterious gate positioned over the road. Lauren took note of it, curious as to what it's purpose was. It seemed to be out in the middle of nowhere. They approached it at a leisurely pace. It seemed to have some writing on it, but some of the letters had been faded out.

"I hope we'll get back home soon. I'm hoping this shortcut will save us some time," Lauren said.

Topaz shrugged and rubbed her calves. "I'm getting tired, my sneakers are all worn." The siamese cat hugged herself. They passed underneath the gate, which appeared to be made of an old polished wood.

Lauren felt it in her hands at first. She tried to pretend it wasn't happening, but in a second she saw the unmistakeable patch of grey on her skin. She cursed as she looked at Topaz and saw the cat recognized the same thing. They were being transformed, again. The zebra sighed as it was the third time she'd been turned into something else that week.

She felt her mass increase, her body becoming more massive and heavy with each passing second. She knew as soon as her nose and upper lip extended out she was becoming an elephant. Her ears flapped out to match her trunk, and her hands had bulged to become a large elephant forefoot. She remained standing, though the increasing weight on her legs was starting to make it more difficult. Her body tore free from its clothes, destroying her uniform in tatters. It was at that moment she hoped she wasn't going to change gender as well!

Topaz seemed to be half horse and becoming more equine. Four hooves and a horse like tail matched her long face. For the moment, her form was still half anthro, but soon she too would be on all fours.

"I just got this new uniform too..." Lauren said, groaning.
