A Pleasant Dinner

LaurenRivers

It had been several months since they had become trapped in their new permanent bodies. The adjustment hadn't been easy for Ashley and Mikaela. Not only had the original occupants of their forms passed on in their own previous bodies, but they had needed to learn their new lives and forge ahead.

Ashley had gotten Mikaela out of the crazy house, and to celebrate they decided to make the best of things and enjoy a nice leisurely dinner. The afghan hound in a male gemsbok body had grown his body's hair out long, and though his family had found it strange she could not help knowing in his heart that he was female. Nevertheless, even though the body he occupied was male, Ashley began to dress like a female. He'd chosen a purple skirt and a mustard colored off shoulder blouse to go with his long black hair.

Mikaela had done likewise, wearing a suit and tie instead of female accoutrements. She was a man inside, and even though she lacked the correct anatomy to fit what she knew was her 'true self', she was going to be as male as she could be.

Ashley smiled at the platypus, who had become his mate after they realized that only each other would know what they were going through.

"To us," Ashley said. She held up the wine glass for a toast.

Mikaela blushed. "Thanks for getting me out of there."

"I know you're not crazy, no more than I am. We just need to be careful about who we tell on 'who we really are'. No one will believe us, but these are our bodies now. We've got to move on."

"We 'moved on' last night, I think." The platypus smiled coyly at the mention of their first physical encounter in their new forms.

Ashley had never been with a woman before, especially not in a male body, but it had felt good. While he had been shy about it at first, his body reacted without hesitation and seemed to know what to do. After a few attempts, they'd only wanted more, and each other.

"Well, our mutual friends probably still think we've gone crazy, our sudden cross dressing and getting together..." Mikaela smiled.

Ashley nodded. "They'll get used to it. If we can adjust to brand new bodies, they can adjust to me wearing a dress and you dating me."

"First world problems, right?" Mikaela chuckled.
