The mysterious water sample had been brought from deep within the jungle. It was brought to the lab where Lauren and Topaz were tasked to investigate. According to the advance team, it made anyone who came in contact with it youthful and energized. Whether or not this was a natural effect, the water caster would determine.

"Topaz, hand me a sample container, would you?" Lauren extended her hand and looked at the water. "It seems normal enough."

Topaz nodded. "It appears to be ordinary water. I doubt it can do what they claim it can."

"Turning back the clock, so to speak. Seems impossible." Lauren held up the vial containing the water sample. "How odd. The seal is broken." A small drop of the water touched her hand, and suddenly it spasmed from the age regression as her hand became smaller. The container shattered on the floor, and before either of them knew it, they were six years old again.

Lauren found herself on her back, her clothes too baggy for a young mare. Topaz held out a paw in mute curiousity.

"Huh."

"Well, this won't look good on our safety report..."
