Her escape attempt had failed. She had managed to get out into the hallway and down the corridor before a guard had tackled her and shot her up with something that immediately relaxed her muscles. Lauren got sleepy and when she woke up she was restrained to a chair, her ankles tied to the legs and her straightjacket firmly in place. She stirred as one of the orderlies adjusted her restraints.

Using her tail, she acquired the key to her cell, and tucked it in the curls of her curved appendage.

"So, how are we feeling today, Miss Rivers? Still believe you're a zebra in a crux body?" The doctor asked.

Lauren simply smiled. She would get another chance later, for now she just needed to play along.
