Sliding doors were a weird thing to Artison already, but there were a pair that were unbelievable. People would go in then but then come back out completely different, and they would act like it was okay. With time passing, Artison's curiosity bested him and he stepped inside with a lady zebra.
The moment the door closed, The zebra hit a button and the room started to jostle a bit. Artison watched himself to see what he'd become, but he saw his hands remain the same the full time. Even after everything stopped moving, Artisan was the same, But past the doors was an entirely new room.
He peaked outside the doors in disbelief "You install a teleporter this building!?" he smiled in awe
"Um... this is an elevator." The zebra, But Artison just looked back at her puzzled. "Look, this thing didn't teleport to a new place. It was justed lifted to a room higher up."
Artison looked at the inside of the elevator again, but was stilled puzzled. "So it's a lift? Why would they make the lift a box with metal walls and doors?"
"Safety of course." the zebra said
"But what's safe about being trapped in a metal box when it falls?" Artison asked "Lifts are safer when you can get them off during that situation."
The zebra then was the one that had a puzzled expression "What? Where are you from to have elevators like that?"
" Maybe some time I could show you." Artison said "Just find find me some time."
The zebra looked at him for a bit then nodded "I'll keep that in mind."
"Grand." Artison smiled then held out a hand "I'm Artisan Revets."
"Lauren Rivers." And she shook it.
"Pleasure, Ms, Rivers." Artison smiled "I hope we meet again soon." And he walked off.
