How paint fabrics? How draw bed?

There are so many things I wish I knew how to fix here. Unfortunately, my skill is very limited, and I don't know how to fix it so that the bed doesn't look like everything's just pasted on top of it. Also, I fail at drawing fabric. Also, I failed at the person. Cat looks decent enough though.. right? If anyone can offer any assistance/guidance in these areas, please do! I want to get better!

Anyway, this is my second ever honest-to-goodness attempt at a realistic human. Also second self-portrait. o.o
