03 - Vessel
My mind wandered a lot of places for this prompt... first thinking of glasses and containers, which I might could do a vore thing with but... nothing really struck me there. Then I started thinking of vessel's as a ship, which could maybe play into a couple things, but then I'd have to draw a boat in some capacity and... nnngghhhh.... XD So then I filtered around to a League of Legends promotional music video Ojikori linked me to recently and thought, oh, hey, I could do something like that... with a character representing another character in some sort of game world? That sounded like a cool thought. So I actually had this whole pose/scene pondered out with Nikki in a Megaman X DiVE and/or Battle Network style of situation, with the character in some fancy armor stuff in a stylized world... and then a "real world" Nikki overlooking the scene from a viewscreen above. It'd be a bit complicated to pull off but I liked it, so that was gonna be the prompt for today...

....but then I remembered Taro.... XD

Now, for basically just about everyone reading this... Who the fuck is Taro? Excellent question, I'm glad you asked, I have SO MUCH that I want to say about him, but I'll probably save most of that for later, when this month of prompts is over and I take the time to post the rest of the art I've been saving up of him because I couldn't reveal him for nearly two years now. XD XD So, long story short, he is "basically Ratatoskr" with my own spin to it. I developed him for a new Pathfinder campaign that Ojikori is running for us and since he's a character who hides his identity with a powerful glamour spell (that makes him look like some normal human) and I wanted to keep that a secret to surprise the party with eventually... it meant I had to keep the squirrel image(s) under wraps until his secret got revealed in-game. And then it took like nearly a year and a half before the game actually started? XD XD So I've been sitting on this character reveal forever.

I had a feeling it was about to happen though... and I was right, the secret dropped just this Friday night when another party member knocked him out in a tournament duel, and KO'ing him breaks the glamour effect. So the secret is out and I can share him with the world finally. XD Otherwise I might have had to hid today's entry and delayed it... XD XD Cause I already switched to this idea thinking there was a good chance it happened this week.

ANYWAYS... why is he "Vessel"? Because in the game, his class is Medium, subclass Relic Channeler... and the GM has basically home-brewed artifacts of the gods for him to find. Channeling these relics gives him powers/feats/abilities/bonuses related to the deity in question... so he becomes the "Vessel" for their power. It was a perfect fit... and it inspired me to do something unique with the posing structure to better show that idea off... in this case with the channeling of Fenrir and Thor through their associated artifacts, that he's wielding...

Oh, and ahh... I mean... it's not a furry setting, necessarily? So... Thor isn't a dog/wolf or anything, I don't think in the game? I just sorta decided "I'm posting this on furry sites, I don't really wanna draw human things, fuck it, Imma give him ears and a muzzle..." XD

I can't think of anything else I wanna say about this one right now so... that's it for now, and I can't wait to show more of this character later. Whhoooo!! I'm FREEEEE!!! XD XD
