This is another short piece of music that I recorded for "The Call of the Flame," an ongoing fantasy audio play of which I am a part of the main cast. "The Journey" is meant to be a simple, short interlude at the start of an episode, over which the narrator and cast recount a brief history of the tale up to that point (in other words, it's the tune that plays during "Previously, on 'The Call of the Flame'..."). The original tune was the work of our lead composer, Adam Halpin, but I was asked to do my own rendition of it, having provided some music to the project before. This is the result, featuring my Rav drum, rim-blown "Mojave" flute, and my Chinese dizi flute.
