I've recently been reunited with an old friend. :) After five years apart, I have reacquired a favorite flute thanks to the kindness and generosity of my fellow furry flute player, Ghostwalker! It's a sub-bass Native American style flute in E minor, made from redwood by Geoffrey Ellis. I'm really happy to have it back, and Ghostwalker has my utmost thanks for that!

This flute was featured in several of my favorite original songs from my prior albums, including "Genesis," "Lightfoot," "Lonely Heart" (the original version), and "Guardian." This new song is a contemplative solo piece inspired by the wood from which the flute was created, and the slow-growing majesty of the great redwood forests.
