I got a new studio microphone (a Blue Bluebird) today, and this recording is the first result of plugging it in and trying it out! :) "Misty Mountains" is the song sung by the dwarves in Bilbo Baggins's home near the beginning of the first recent "Hobbit" film, with the lyrics taken from the original poem in the novel.

This song constantly gets stuck in my head, in spite of the fact that I generally feel rather "meh" about the movie. Still, it's a great little tune to try out some vocals and harmonies with my new mic. I arranged this as a three-part harmony (myself singing all three, obviously), with the only effects being a bit of clean-up, volume adjustment, and reverb.
