It was a heck of a time trying to finish this though D: After the sketch was approved, I went to work on the lines.... only to have all my work wiped when a flash thunderstorm hit and knocked out all our power. We had no electricity for 8 hours on a 107 degree f heat index day X_x It was horrific. We have never lost electricity that long since we got this house, but the lightning had just perfectly managed to hit a transformer while the sudden winds blew over electric lines elsewhere. Just in case we had any additional blinking, before bed that evening I unplugged all my computing stuff so that if something happened to our power strip, I wouldn't lose the machines............... the next day when power came back on, I went back out to work on the drawing again, only to find that one of our foster kittens had used the opportunity of all the wires being exposed to chew through my tablet wire. Ughhhhh. So I went to use my Surface instead, only for the tip to fall clean off! WTF man?? Fortunately I was able to replace the wire and I will be ordering a new surface pen soon, but good grief.
