I had this idea when I listened to this song. This is these two saying goodbye, Gingerpelt know that Rowanshadow can't see her and it's against Starclan law to walk in his dreams. No Rowanshadow is not letting go, but he has come to terms with her and though it causes him great agony he knows he will see her again.
