At the heart of the fortress, there is one person who is guarding the entrance to the inner atrium. The mere sight of this guard drew a large gasp from the warrior, because this guard...is her father. However, he doesn't seem himself, he moves as if he's enslaved to the will of a much larger evil influence.

He lunges to attack the intruders, but his blade was stopped by the warrior who drew her own sword to block his attack, and so, a vicious duel ensued. The fight lasted only for a short while, but for the warrior, it lasts for years as she relives the memories of her childhood before it was torn away from her. With a fatal strike, she defeated her father and freed him from the influence of the evil entity, but in the process she also fatally wounded him.

In his last dying breaths, he proclaimed her to be his pride and that his wish to see her again had at last been fulfilled. With a final whisper of farewell, he passed away with a smile in his face.
