Sonnet to Old friends by Kyna_Inkweaver

I don't know how I didn't notice
How we were scared to say
That the way we were was this
That we fought to live day by day.

But now I know and here I am,
Laughing with you and your wife.
You see the me, woman in man,
and now we're living life.

I know it was silly to hide from you,
You know the truth, you always do.

Now if the world will lend an ear,
Me, yourself and your wife dear,
We have a message, we hope its clear,
We all are proud and queer.

Sonnet to Old friends

Kyna_Inkweaver

I recently came out as Trans to my best friend and his wife. I was shocked when they took it so well considering how much of a distance I felt had come between us.
Recently I had the opportunity to go with him and his wife to an ice cream shop, as it turns out, they're both bi, and have a boyfriend.
I was shocked but in a good way, the way that says "Oh that explains so much." So here I am, just writing this out for him and her. God help me if they find it here. >.>

Hey, good for you. It takes a lot of courage to be open about that sort of thing. <3
