Storge by Kyna_Inkweaver

A large meal,
Shared among loved ones.
Kind laughter
Warm rooms.
A place to belong,
I feel at home like this.

Open Doors,
With respected privacy.
Surprising strength,
Tempered by meekness.
Safety built by many.
And share with all of us.

I belong here.
Like you belong here too.
We laugh together
And comfort pains.
Our home, once just a house,
Made this way by our family's bond.

Storge

Kyna_Inkweaver

Storge, like Eros is another Ancient Greek word for love, this one being familial bonded love.
I love my blood family deeply but I feel this one is more towards friends who have become family.
I do hope you enjoy this one too.
