Luigi had made sure to steer clear of the kitchen and dining room these past few missions. So did most of the ghosts in the mansion nowadays.

Inside the rooms were where two exceptionally rotund ghosts the Professor explicitly stated the Poltergust 5000 would be unable to hold, even individually.

What he did hear from the room was the sound of continual stuffing and eating. Thankfully, if he wanted to get away from a ghost that was chasing him, he need only go near the eatery...

The Greenie could barely move, as stuffed as it was. It had consumed a three-layer cake, a gelatin, and somehow along the line its playmate.

It could not help but also notice that he was producing quite a bit of slobber now, just like a true Gobber. Its tongue had swollen from the beginning of its own conversion. It could tell how far along its conversion was coming along from the ever changing hue of its own protoplasmic veil from standard green to Gobber yellow.

Its new friend came through the recently "resized" (broken) doorway from the kitchen to bring more food, it itself having increased its own mass from what the Blobbish Greenie could tell. It wanted to catch up to his partner-in-crime, and the Gobber was only willing to help.

The Greenie-going-Gobber opened its maw and pointed to where the food was to go.
