This is my story: I am the chapters, and my pages are painted all along my body.

I hope that you'll listen, because I'm not the only one with a tale to tell.

This is Ember when she's 28. After getting noticed after volunteering for a friend's modelling project, she was offered a chance to tell her story and model for a section in Herstia's most popular culture magazine, Wild. This was the photo she took for them, proudly baring her painted herstian patches, and even more proudly her wedding ring. She expected a small segment of the magazine, but found herself on the cover when it released. At first Ember was overwhelmed with the large amount of hate mail aimed for her, and despite being offered the possibility of wanting to give her more work as the first painted herstian model they'd ever hired, Ember almost decided to refuse it. However, when she recieved fanmail from other young painted herstians, Ember was filled with hope, and took the job, vowing to use her standing to help give them a future that they might not get otherwise.
