After a few tweaks, this is the first of the Jailbirds from Raging Heroes finished. I'm a little miffed that I missed the blemish on her chin until I was well into basecoating, so I couldn't bring myself to start over, but at the least I know that error's definitely mine. She's the test miniature for the rest of the army, so there's a few things awry that'll be corrected or improved on for the rest of them, with the notable exception of those ridiculously orange pants - those are absolutely as intended!
After this I'll very likely do the leather straps darker on the next miniatures in the veteran pack I'm putting together, and this one's likely going to end up with black gloves instead; I think a little more contrast is in order. I'm pleased with how the orange came out, though... I don't usually paint anything quite that lurid, so it was neat to see it coming together!
Orange is definitely going to stay the army colour, but in keeping with them being a rag-tag, rough and tumble group of troublemakers, I'll make like a Skaven army and switch around the patterns some while keeping the palette the same, and the psychotic hair is deliberately reminiscent of Escher gangers - if I can find a way to get some shotguns in these hands, I'll probably end up with the start of a Necromunda gang again, too!
Raging Heroes is a company that produces resin miniatures of their own, though they're apparently working on a game system to support them, as well! http://ragingheroes.com

What is Raging Heroes anyway? Is it a seperate game?
