Some gift art I've been trying to do for :iconDeezmo: for a few weeks now. She helped :usercarnival: at the recent Armageddon convention when I was working too much to do so, is a wonderful girl and a great artist at that.

She also has an adorable little pony character called Kindle (who keeps burning her hair, thus the singed parts).

I wanted to try my hand at a more free form sketch style which went fantastically. I hit a few hurdles during the digital art stage as I'm far too used to doing photo manipulations and editing with work, instead of character art.

All in all though I'm happy with the result.

Background is an overpaint of a cloud photo for those that are interested. Lines made in Illustrator CS6. Colours in Photoshop CS6
