This has been a WIP for a little while, more or less, since Aug. of this year, that had to have a hold on it after Halloween due to School was getting close to ending in Dec. shortly afterwards and needed to focus my studies on School. Nonetheless, Uva the Raver Fruit Fox for shadowdragon13 (on FurAffinity) is now complete, refurbishment wise.'

Going from Left to Upper Right to Lower Right:

Left: About 2012, I believe or maybe before then, shadowdragon13 (on Furaffinity) and I talked about doing a Head Trade to try out one another's skills. I did her Raver Fruit Fox, Uva, and she did my wolf/tiger (wolger) hybrid, Iris. And we met up in person about 2 years after meeting at AX 2010 XD And exchanged them at a Mall that was between our locations. The eye sight...I didn't realize would be BAD on the head ^^; And as a way to make up for taking so long on her's (had to wait on the sparkle purple from a website) I added squeakers in the ear tips.

Fast forward 3 years later XD
We met up with her during Aug. 2015 and she mentioned to me that she had only worn Uva a small number of times, due to the limited eye sight. And had to have a Handler to get around and see.
Not fun.

So, I took it upon myself to repair it and change her for her and thankfully she had extra white faux fur for me to use the remake.

Upper Right: Original shot taken of the Refurbish, I thought "OH! I'm done!" and then started looking back at it now and again and seeing the goofy gap on her muzzle. And didn't like the appearance, it just didn't look finished.

Lower Right: Dec. 21, 2015, this is the COMPLETED refurbish with the fixed muzzle gap XD

To those who are still a newbie, like myself, seeing how my first head was 4 years ago and revamped almost a year later, and then refurbished 3 years later XD And then did my Husband's head about a year or so ago, and only just this year refurbished him. Don't give up. Yeah, your first head may or may not turn out looking stupendous. But it takes time to get it perfect and get it to where you feel happy with it.

I spent, a good part of the time that I wasn't doing a Head or planning to refurbish a Head, researching up new ways to do something. Finding new tutorials, and just looking at other people's Foam Head bases, to get a better grasp off how the muzzle and jaw should look. Even looking up at the actual animal in photos on Google.
The eye lid look appearance on this was a test to see how it would look, same w/her eyelashes ^^;

Trying to give a more feminine appearance, and test run for using the concept for the Snow Leopard Elsa; I'm hoping to work on her during the Summer in 2016 as a Halloween costume for the neighborhood kids.
