The Lathe Station by Komitadjie

The Lathe Station

Komitadjie

I've had some people ask me what lathe I use, what my turning area looks like, etc... so, snapped a quick shot of my lathe station! I have to admit, this is somewhat posed. Typically, if the Easy Rougher (the big club of carbide-tipped awesomeness down in front of the lathe) is out of its protective plastic tube, there's chips stacked up everywhere. Plus, I typically wouldn't leave an un-turned blank in the lathe... but it's much more visually interesting this way, and I get to plug Easy Wood Tools again! They're really top-notch, pretty much all the work I do is with this tool (the full-size Easy Rougher), the full-size Easy Finisher, and two of their "Easy Start" line, the "finisher" and the "detailer." Couldn't ask for an easier way to cut wood, that's for sure, and the quality of the tools has to be seen to be believed. Just superb, even on the low-cost "Easy Start" tools.
