And tried out the spiral tool on walnut! I'm pleased with how this one came out, the wire burning went well also. This is perhaps one of the best-spinning tops I've made so far!

      Thanks! I'm enjoying the spiral tool, still learning how to use it, and how MUCH to use it. I think if I would have left the grooving a tad shallower on this one, it wouldn't have chipped out quite like it did. Learning is fun! :)
