Cliffs and Rivers

Kolik

A perspective experiment with pencil and simple ink pens. The light grey shading on alternating stripes is meant to be shading so that the waterfall effect looks more natural.

Last year in November, I gave myself a personal challenge to try drawing something every day just to get over the initial hurdle of drawing stuff. I didn't draw as much as I wanted to but I did draw a fair amount more than I usually did, and this was one of the better results. It's not much to look at, but I had a very fun time drawing it: the rings were calming, and I think I managed to make the water look decently like water with just a blue pen.
