Kendra is an intelligent, complex feline. She can be studious, serious, enigmatic, pragmatic...and when she's away from the courtly gossipers, happy, mischievous and far more relaxed! It's much as Koda is often stoic or mildly bemused around official and serious sorts, but far more prone to relaxation and laughter around her. It's why they like each other. They have a special trust.

She certainly looks happy here...and to me, it looks like she's just uncovered her eyes and is pleasantly surprised by something.

Perhaps she's on an outing with Koda, and he's just surprised her with a priceless treasure he recovered from a crumbling fortress...ancient books and scrolls she's never before seen!
