Kendra the Abyssinian grew up amidst the never-ending noise and bustle of the cities and courts, whether in her home city or trips to the sandswept southern ports where her ancestral House Sekani does business.
Her friend Koda the lynx, raised around the small forest villages and trading posts of his people, has always tried to explain to her the quiet magic to be found in nature. The permanence, the rocks and trees older than anything his or her people had created or recorded. The sounds that feline ears can discern when there's nothing but the whisper of the wind in the leaves and the soft babble of a winding brook.
She's discovering that, now. That after reading volumes of all that her people know of the natural world, that there's nothing quite like simply going out and touching it.

It looks like concept art for some epic animated film or game, so much soft, beautiful detail here, and her expression of wonder is perfect. This also shows her in more practical traveling clothes, and she's an adept archer as well.
