Another old picture I'm copying over to Weasyl.
I made this in mid-2006, according to the attribution, yet its quality is still comparable to (if not better than) anything I can do today. Perhaps if I had put all of my artistic effort toward improving my visual art skills (and by that I probably mean "learning how to draw at all, ever") then I wouldn't have remained at this level ever since. However, I made the decision to focus on my writing, instead, and I stand by that.
Anyway.
Before the more recent species changes, Teo was a Siberian husky for something like eleven years(!!!) and this was firmly in the middle of that phase. If I recall correctly, this picture was meant to debut Teo's long hair, which was a new feature that he did not used to have. The setting is meant to be a nostalgic one, wherein Teo has climbed a ladder up to the roof of his parents' New Mexico house, probably on the evening of the Fourth of July, just to see if anyone else's fireworks show was visible from there. We used to do that a lot in real life, as I was growing up, you see.
I don't really recall it being that dramatically action-hero-windswept-pose-level windy up there, though.

Eleven years? HOT DAMN. Even Kaye's shiba form only survived 4 years...
