Gryphon Chick by Kittrel

Gryphon Chick

Kittrel

OLD ART - 2008

It is a little known fact that gryphons are hatched with all their feathers, unlike most baby birds who are naked and kind of scary. This is a natural defense against larger predators. Even the meanest dragon will clasp its talons to the side of its head and coo "AWWWWWWW!!!!" at the sight of a gryphon chick, saving the chick from getting eaten, and perhaps snagging part of a dropped knight in shining armor for a snack.

AKA, I am now making outrageous excuses for the excessive amount of cute. Beware. :3
