Summercat and Schmozy came to visit me the other day. Their discovery that I like hugs as much as I like spiders or being burned with fire was the inspiration behind this.
And yes. When people hug me, often times I hiss at them.

Only William is not meant to be HIDEOUS. Sure. XDDD I totally had to look that one up, I didn't know what you were talking about at all.
I imagine it's in the curled up lips and the white hair... XD-
Mok was meant to be an analogy Mick Jagger (obviously) and let's face it.. Jagger was never really "sexy" but women still wanted him for his charisma. So Mok Swagga was a bit of a parody of that. It's mostly his dress, skin stone, teeth, lips and hair.

I did notice the Jagger, yes. A lot yes. I am surprised I have never heard of the cartoon till just now though. Usually I am on top of these old things... XD
