Merry Christmas all, I hope everyone had an absolutely lovely time through the holidays! This year for my birthday I received an electric cutting machine, which set me off on an ambitious journey of creating multi-layered popup Christmas cards. It seemed like a simple enough design at first, but after it took 10 hours alone just to cut out all the pieces for 24 cards, I knew I might have dug myself into a hole a little bit. I think the final design came out fantastic but hopefully next year I don’t design something that takes me more than 30 hours to complete :’)
