Whispering Winds: A Don Bluth Tribute Piece by kikidoodle (critique requested)
This was my watercolor tribute piece for the Don Bluth Tribute Gallery held at A Little Known Shop in Anaheim (and if you're in the area, you should check out their store!! It's the most adorable store ever and run by the best two ladies).
The original piece, which sold, is about 5x7". The show requirements were that all pieces had to be under 12x12" including frame, but I got a little over zealous with my design! Done in opaque watercolors with a paper cut out matte. There was some decent depth on the piece in person, too!

I love your spin on it. It reminds me of the darker and dangerous feeling I had from the show as kid. I was quite terrified at times, but felt touched too. You caught the characters likeness in looks and personality well.
