I re discovered an old thumbnail I drew YEARS ago, and thought that it looked like fun, so I took a day break from commissions to paint this.

Kanakah are the fire dragons of Tisitan. They are very long lived, and can grow to huge sizes. Thankfully, they rarely cross into the mainland, due to their home being a volcanic chain of islands far off the coast. That said, sometimes one or two will find their way over, and thus bring destruction with them.

Here a sitharian priestess, the dragon-people of Tisitan, defends her home and her people against a particularly vicious kanakah.
