My tribute to Carrie Fisher.

I actually started this piece months ago because I was tired of almost all of the slave Leia art showing her putting on a sexy pose, or reveling in her captivity. In the films, she’s captured after attempting a daring rescue where she essentially came in with an armed bomb, and was forced into this outfit against her will... and the second she gets a chance, she strangles the shit out of her captor, and essentially escapes on her own with HELP from her friends, rather than the traditional scream and wait to be rescued you normally would see from damsels in distress.

We lost a wonderful talent and person with Carrie Fisher, and I just hope I grow up to have the attitude she carried with her in her life. Truly my favorite Disney Princess.
