Here's one of my favorite characters that I've created. Her name is Kimotse Satoshikawa, and as the title implies, yes she's a ghost.

I once had a fan idea for the game Fatal Frame, and this was one of the "helpful" spirits in the idea. The other 'helpful spirit' was her brother, Hitotse.

The story behind her is that her father didn't care much about her due to the fact she was born almost blind. He thought she was a disgrace to the family, and even a curse, so when she was 8 he tried to kill her. However, he killed his son instead, when he took his sister's place. Distraught with grief, the father attempted to bring his son back from the dead, but instead brought back a demon that consumed the entire home, and cursed the land beyond it.

Kimotse is really playful, but she knows not to touch living people. She really likes playing with balls, as she can hear them bounce. All she really wants to do is play, though it's hard when the spirits of the house are under the curse of the demon.

This is an example of Full body Color, though it's an older work, and I know you can see where I went out of the lines.
