So what happened here? In Loki's own words:

Loki's eyes flickered open as sun grazed across them. Wearily he groaned out, reaching over slowly and feeling his arm being poked by something sharp, blinking as he does and his eye shot open. Giving a panicked yelp he clung to the tree branch he was on, his head darting back and forwards as he does. His head pounded as he stirred into life again, rubbing at it gently and realising something. No clothes. No idea where he was. And up a tree. His memory fuzzed in and out of what happened last night. Fireworks and a birthday celebration.. Meeting Kianga... being bought along to Snow Warband... seeing the bottom of about eight bottles of citadel whiskey... "Ohhhrrrfffff crud...." He groaned to himself. Looking down the seemingly tall tree "Just... five more minutes... Then I hunt Kianga AND my clothes..."
