Boaz is a Minotaur. Minotaur language consists of elaborately designed mazes in a series of squares. A particularily articulate Minotaur could write something that could break your heart within the twists and turns of a labyrinth.

Boaz is not an articulate Minotaur. He's scratched out something like "SEE SPOT RUN, RUN SPOT RUN" on the ground.
