During practice, an idea for the game I'm working on came to me: one of the characters might be off in a room somewhere noodling on a piano, waiting for you to arrive and escort her away to safety.
The music would be kind of meandering and not quite well-played since the character probably wouldn't know how to perform on piano. This suits my current ability quite well, since I still can only pretend to play piano.
I improvised these, it is one take. I'm kind of happy with it.
I will probably put these in scraps eventually, but for the mean time please let me know if this conjures any images in your head, or if you just like it or don't like it. :3
Sad tiger :c I used my sample library for this one -- don't have a real piano. just a 49-key midi controller. I'm really starting to want a full-range keyboard ;-;
Man, tell me about it. I upgraded to a 61-key, but the keys are really resistant and don't feel right. It's okay for inputting stuff, but I think that if I ever wanted to learn how to play for reals, it would be a major impediment.
Hehe. Once I move to a new place, maybe I'll get an old junker upright and annoy the neighbors. ;)
a contemplative stroll before dawn along a park freshly misted from rain. dozens of streetlamps reflect off the moisture, keeping you company before the sun comes along. there are other people walking around, doing similarly. one has a huge dog that you pet
this also sounds composed, so good job on these
