Bandersnatch Skeleton Studies

Kerijiano

Something I've been wanting to do for a while since I got the bander species, and that was to give them some more dept, as well as treating the drawings / background of them as a discoverer / scientist! The two banders featured are Bloo and Redd, as they were the first two to be made :) First time I've drawn skeletons as well! :D

If you can't read my chicken scratch, here's what the writing says:

"Fig. I : Bandersnatch Skeleton frontal view. While it is similar to a human's, it has larger and stronger lower limb bones, as well as a larger than usual chest for various organs. They also lack collar bones, meaning they can squeeze into small areas. Their spines, mainly their necks, are held with lots of muscle.

Fig. II & III: Teeth bander & Beaked bander skulls. Note that the beaked skull has both a beak and teeth. The teeth bander has a smaller brow ridge and less prominant jaw bone - but appears to have nostrils while Beaked bander does not.

Fig. IV: Bandersnatch Skeleton: Back view. The bandersnatch has a very strong and prehensive tail, often as long as the bandersnatch is tall. Some banders do not have tails, but a short, non-prehensive "nub" instead. Their fingers are short, hidden amongst their fur, and not very flexible."
