Detective O'Hye is a hard-boiled cop in a soft-boiled city. His wife Elsie is a private eye with a one-track mind. Their burning passion for each other (and for taking down criminals) will help them solve The Case of the Gelatinous Gemstone.

It was such a treat to provide illustrations for Tempo's short story, which is available NOW in Sofawolf Press's hot new release of HEAT #11! I was inspired by the color palettes and bold inking styles for the classic Dick Tracy comics (so art-deco!), and tried to capture a bit of their feel for this project. (Granted, the publication is black and white printing, but I figured the web versions might as well be color!)
