• Tassle on the cap is on the right side, meaning that Ken is officially graduated
• Medal signifies that the student has completed all four years in the university he is graduating into
• Silver ropes signify high honors, or "magna cum laude" in Latin. For his university, a 3.8 to 3.9 GPA is required to attain this rank
• Diploma book does not yet contain the diploma. It will be mailed in a month or two
• Ken is on the phone talking to his special someone... <3
