I imagine Bonnie isn't really going to be accepting of that answer. Especially an answer so blatantly full of crap. "We don't meddle in human affairs" she says after the group literally just did that.
I just hope Bonnie doesn't go to the other extreme and try to save those people all on her own. With her being superhuman and all she MIGHT pull it off, but she'd be seriously outnumbered. And hybrids are still as vulnerable to bullets as any human is even if they're harder to actually hit.
