NS: Everybody's Fool

Ok so this is something I had posted on DA for a short time, but then took down. So I'll post it here.
This is my lovely character Varlo, and his dad Kann. They have a very fragile relationship. Basically, Kann knows/is pretty sure that Varlo is secretly dating one of the servants, Bertel. But Varlo knows that Kann is having an affair. So the only thing that keeps Kann from getting Varlo burned alive is the fact that if he tells anyone, Varlo tells his mother (Kann's wife) about the affair.
I think the song 'Everybody's Fool' by Evanescence (I think that's right) describes their relationships pretty well. (like, each verse or something they switch like Varlo is talking about Kann in one and Kann is talking about Varlo in another. And Kann would also use 'she' in a mocking sense IDK where I'm going here)

    Ah well thats different then X3;
    Must be quite unsettaling for them always knowing what the other knows but never knowing if theyll say anything

      Yeah but they figured that they could technically both be killed for their secrets, it's a pretty safe bet that no one will talk.
