a pause before battle

keirajo

Having mastered the Zero Armour, under the teaching of Dynamo...X is ready for the big battle against the mysterious hidden enemy behind Epsilon, Red Alert and the Neo Guardians organizations! (I've finally nearly finished my trilogy of MMX fan-fics in the post- "Justice" series!)

Mega Man/Rockman X is copyrighted to Capcom, the Zero Armour is my own original design.

Love the colors you used here <3

Awwwww...thank you very much! I actually used my Prismacolor markers on this piece, rather than my Copics this time (except the flesh-tones). I should use my Prismacolor markers more often!

So which markers are better--Prismacolor or Copics?

I think they both have really good uses. Prismacolors seem to run out faster (can't tell you how fast I've gone through "Black" and "Crimson Red" ones alone...........). The colors vary from type to type...and in Prismacolors the colors seem sometimes inconsistent. I've seen the Crimson Reds have different shades depending on where I buy them and whether it's the Brush or Chisel tip versions.

But I like the simpler shades of greens and blues in Prismacolors. Instead of the thousands of shades of blue that Copics have.

" ...the colors seem sometimes inconsistent." I can't stand that in any traditional media lol

Prismacolor seems to like to change the color content/makeup of the markers. I remember after my very first set of Prismacolors, when some ran out, and then replacing like Crimson Red and Violet Blue later on with new markers--the colors looked different, darker. I used to use Crimson Red for Knuckles.......but after the marker seemed to get into a really dark red, I had to switch over to Copic's Cadmium Red or Strong Red instead.
