Many years back I wrote a lot of fan-fiction based on the "Sonic" comic at the time. Many of my friends and pen-pals really enjoyed my fan-fiction and I had it timeline set so that it accepted the comic events up to a certain point (basically "Sonic the Hedgehog" #50 and equivalent side-books of that time)...so I evolved an alternate future to what Ken Penders did in the comic (and essentially ruined the book over, thanks to his lawsuit-happy personality), where the characters and stories were well supported by my friends and pen-pals.
So this character is Adam Arrunda, formerly known as "Abel"...and heir to the Grandmastership of the Dark Legion...through a series of story events beyond his control, he gets exiled by the Dark Legion and takes up with Knuckles' kin (becoming friends with Knuckles' grandson, Blade). Choosing to change his own personality and future on his own, Adam shows a lot of growth in personality throughout the stories. If I had to compare him to an anime character, he is most like Vejita (Vegeta) of "Dragon Ball" ("Dragonball Z", if you prefer the anime over manga)--a bit cold, a strong fighter who likes to fight...but he cares about what is important to him and will do anything to keep those who mean anything to him safe from all harm.
Abel/Adam is my creation. Other elements from the comics surrounding his creation (such as setting and peripheral characters) belong to either Archie Comics of Ken Penders, based on that lawsuit thing.
Awwwww! Thank you so much!!!!
Is your user name a reference to the Dragonriders of Pern books by Anne McCaffrey? :)
You are very welcome :)
in a way yes it is :D. It's my favorite Anne McCafferey book so I was inspired to name my sonic character that name, she is queen of her home dimension.
BUT at the same time, it also references that very book, Moreta and her dragon Queen Orlith :D.
Oooh awesome! I didn't get to read that one, I started reading The White Dragon and enjoyed it but I didn't get to finish it. I'm planning to re read a whole bunch of them again.
The last 'newest' one I bought was Acorna the unicorn girl. but I didn't get to read it DX.
That series is also wonderful! There is an illustrated version of "Acorna" out there, someday I would love to find it, but I wonder if it is out of print nowadays? Later books in the series were a bit strange, but the first three "Acorna" books were very good. Her "Talents" (The Rowan, etc.) series was good, except the final one, "The Tower and the Hive" I didn't like as much as the others.
