I've never heard of this game. :/

It came out on the PS2 about a year or so before Enix Corporation merged with SquareSoft and is a "Grandia" series game. While it has Grandia-style gameplay, it was a dungeon-crawler (maybe why the fans hated it? I dunno, I like exploring dungeons.......).
Also had some big-name stars doing the voice overs...Dean Cain (Lois & Clark: the New Adventures of Superman) and Mark Hamill!

I think that's true. I have a pen-pal who is a huge RPG nut but refused to play this game because of what her online friends complained about it...then like a year ago she was telling me that she wished she bought the game, because she read a wonderful review of it. (So...she never believed ME, just what people online say???)
But the game's super-rare and almost impossible to find anymore. That's her loss. I love exploring dungeons, so I'd rather play those kinds of RPGs anyways! grin
