pony parade 2019: Azure Limone

So, I dunno..............granted, she's a hard 'Pony to even try to shade to begin with, because of gradation of colors and patterns..........! So, I didn't shade at all on her. This was the first digitally colored traditional lineart with Clip and my Intuos...........both very new things to me. I feel like some of the tools I liked in Manga Studio don't work the same way in Clip and I don't know how I feel about that. :/ I also feel like the pen drags a lot on my tablet, but it's a much heavier pen than my Bamboo one was so, that may be the problem too.........

So, like "soothing watercolor" was my blending tool, I used it along with "blur" to soften all edges of "merged color" areas (multi-colored manes, like in this). It doesn't work the same in Clip, it feels like. Now keep in mind, I didn't change any settings in MS5 for most of these brushes, ONLY the sizes. These things like "density" and "saturation", yeah, too complicated for me--let me keep it easy. I MESSED with all those things yesterday and couldn't get it looking like I used to have it--like a painty-kind of style. On successive pieces I used the mere "blend" tool............so, it doesn't let my digital coloring look the same and I really have to remember not to press down very hard with this brush. I guess I'll know how they look when I post them, as opposed to the photo-viewer function.

I have the remainder of my 'Ponies to upload this week, as well as another gift one for a person. Then we'll finally be done with Pony Parade 2019. :)

MLP belongs to Hasbro, OC belongs to me. :)
