Though my robots suck.................I'm like..............really, REALLY happy with how this whole concept turned out. It's...............maybe a little bit spoiler-ish if you read my GalvaRod 'fics over at AO3 (but it's really far future things that I'm nowhere close to actually writing yet). But you probably would have to grasp something of the Transformers species and relationships and fandom to get the hidden meaning of this piece.
Transformers belongs to Hasbro, Novablaze (OC) belongs to me.

I think I'm better at not drawing arms and feet as much--just like humans. I made Nova's "boots" pretty detailled so............I'm glad this cuts him off above the knees. XD
Thanks! :D I had lots of fun trying to get the effects right as I wanted them to look. The "gems" are "Sparks"--which are kind of like the "heart and soul" of a Transformer (even literally, since if the Spark dies, they die). Sparks get portrayed differently throughout the franchise, since the concept came about (around the "Beast Wars" era--popularized more by the live-action films). Since technically G1 doesn't have this concept, my G1-focused stories here kind of do a bit of "retro-fixing" to upgrade G1 with more modern concepts. In my particular 'fics however, I've gone and made Sparks be all different colors (most tend to go with the light blue/white common thing........the IDW comics had a difference between a blue and a green Spark), because in my retro-fixed G1 universe the color of the Sparks mean something, but not in the way IDW's universe portrayed it. :)

Yeah!! Everyone remakes a new universe using the G1 cast—trying to make something original. I’m trying to actually stay in the sandbox of the G1Season 3 cartoon, but just retro-fit it with some of the modern concepts of the franchise. It’s neat to see the new stuff people come up with using the characters and it’s also fun to create my own stuff! :D

Despite all that talk about being bad at drawing robots, this one did turn out really well! I really like all those sparkly effects and those gems(?) they're holding.
